NBA Player skips playing of National Anthem because of his “Muslim beliefs” which forbid him from showing respect for anything but Islam

This “Man” NEEDS TO DENOUNCE HIS CITIZENSHIP AND GO TO IRAN!

They play Basketball in Iran don’t they? Or is it illegal there???

Prior to the Cavaliers getting set to take on the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, one of their players was missing from the pregame opening events. Dion Waiters was nowhere to be found when the national anthem was being sung. He was absent when the starting lineups were introduced. Turns out, Waiters was just acting in accordance with what his Islamic religious beliefs are.

CLEVELAND  It was the first game of the season that he was coming off the bench. He finally arrived from the locker room to join the Cavaliers’ bench a couple seconds before tip off. Folks started to speculate if he was injured, disgruntled or if this was his way of rebelling? (Rebelling in the sense that Muslims find loyalty to the country to be un-Islamic)

Waiters informed Northeast Ohio Media Group that he is a Muslim and that’s the reason he excused himself prior to the national anthem. “It’s because of my religion,” Waiters told NEOMG. “That’s why I stayed in the locker room.” Waiters says he is rededicating himself more to his Muslim faith. 

The guard refused to talk any further on the matter. “I don’t really want to talk about that, my religion,” he said. “I don’t really want to talk about that. I want to talk about basketball.”

Many people seem to believe that with the acquisition of LeBron James and company, Cleveland Cavs guard Dion Waiters has become expendable; or at the very least will be relegated to coming off the bench next season.

  1. good for him. stand up for your beliefs. everyone is not a Christian and, as a black American, the pledge of allegiance to the United States flag should mean nothing giving our history in this country, e.g. Ferguson, Missouri, etc. If whites are treated better than blacks in America, let whites stand to the pledge and remain silent when blacks refuse.     1. I don’t see America as being White, Black, Hispanic. I see Americans as being people who take this as their home. Shouldn’t a person protect his home, love his country? Im white but I don’t sit here and cry because most ” American ” all star basket ball Players are black, rich and famious. I am broke, I was in Prison, I don’t have Swastika’s tattooed all over me. Some of my best friends and brothers in there are Black. If what America stands for means nothing to someone living here, than what is their reason for being here??? Go somewhere where you can feel pride in the colors you wear.

    2. There were white people “Americans” who Because of the the American Flag, and their Pledge of Allegiance to the flag & One Nation Under GOD. Fought and died so that Black Americans could live as the do “Equally as they do.” They have every oppertunity every other American Flag has. There is a Black General in the army, Black Americans in congress, The president is Black. Racism exist because of people with views like yours. And this Black NBA Player. You seem to of also forgotten the Black Americans who who fought in the wars to defend the Flag with their lives. They were not caught up in the past, they wanted better fought for it, and now have it. Equality. African Tribes captured people and sold them as slaves. Don’t here you referring to any of that??? It was just all the Whites. If this player don’t want to accept the equality he has been given, and the great opportunity to make some good money. If he wants to act like some kind of Victim he should pack his bags and leave with all the rest of the people who are not patriots of this nation. The borders are open. Go
